Huawei’s latest creation, the Huawei Mate 10 Pro, has an AI processer Kirin 970 embedded in its operating system, making its owner’s life easier. In the three-episode SCREENED thriller series, agency Buzzman and the brand boast smartphone’s abilities such as photographic recognition, the optimisation of the battery or instant translation, and each feature is at the centre of the episodes.
The special challenge here was to make the series ultra-immersive, so it was designed specifically for the mobile. Challenge was accepted by Aurélien Molas, Crime Time’s screenwriter, nominated at this year’s Emmy Awards, and Olivier Abbou, director of Territoires, Yes we can and Maroni, who adopted a 9:16 format to immerse viewers into the core of the plot.
The series tells the story of Nathan, a young thirty-year-old, who participates in a peculiar recruitment process with other candidates. Finding himself tracked in the middle of a forest, his only ally to find a way out is his Huawei Mate 10 Pro! A teaser unveiled the series on 15th December, and the 3 episodes are broadcast on Huawei France’s digital media (YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram).
