Last month we published an article about a campaign made by Amsterdam creative agency Etcetera, where people all across the Netherlands were invited to meet up in Amsterdam to let go of the things they don’t need – and don’t like – by grilling them. Yes, that’s correct: setting ‘the WORST’ items alight and flame-grilling them… The twist of the campaign is in the wordplay, as the Dutch word for hot-dogs is ‘worst’.
And people readily took Burger King up on this unusual invitation, showing up in great numbers, despite the notorious Dutch rains, eager to set light to all manner of items, from broken bike locks, to sex toys, to their ‘worst’ meals…
