British Airways has introduced a new chapter of its “A British Original” out-of-home campaign titled “Reflections.” Developed in collaboration with Uncommon Creative Studio and MG OMD, the striking visual series captures the beauty and emotion of air travel. To bring the idea to life, four British photographers, Laura Pannack, Jack Johnstone, Catherine Hyland, and Cian Oba-Smith were sent around the world to transform views from airplane windows into cinematic, art-like portraits.
“A British Original” serves as British Airways’ ongoing brand platform, first launched in 2022 to honour the diverse and deeply personal reasons people choose to travel. Rooted in stories of customers, employees, and the spirit of the nation, the positioning celebrates individuality and emotion as core elements of the flying experience. Since its debut, the campaign has evolved through multiple creative executions, including a 2024 television spot and the 2025 “Reflections” out-of-home series, each designed to spotlight the people, places, and moments that make every journey distinct.
“Reflections” builds upon last year’s “Windows” campaign, which centered on the faces and emotions of passengers gazing out at the world. This new chapter reverses the viewpoint, shifting the focus from the travelers themselves to the breathtaking sights that capture their attention.

The concept is elegantly simple yet visually powerful: the British Airways logo appears mirrored on the aircraft’s engines, seamlessly merging with vistas of deep ocean blues, glowing city skylines, and sweeping countryside. Captured entirely in-camera, the photographs evoke the quiet, contemplative moment every traveler knows, gazing out of the cabin window, caught between daydream and wonder. The result is a study of light, motion, and nostalgia, gently reminding us that some of the most memorable travel images are taken from seat 14A.
The full series covers: New York (USA), London (UK), Atlanta (USA), Nassau (Bahamas), Dubrovnik (Croatia), Keflavik (Iceland), Abuja, (Nigeria), Marrakesh (Morocco) and highlights Barcelona’s coast, the British countryside and the Pyrenees.
