COCA-COLA PRESENTS A SERIES OF UNFORGETTABLE TASTES OF SERBIA
The Coca-Cola system in Serbia has unveiled their first hand-made billboard on Zlatibor on the occasion of the announcement of the beginning of the series “Coca-Cola travel – unforgettable tastes of Serbia”. Some of the most authentic dishes from all over Serbia will be presented and modernized through 12 exciting episodes that will be broadcast in the coming period on the official Coca-Cola Facebook page.
“Coca-Cola has long been an indispensable part of our meals, but now we wanted to go a step further and show that Coca-Cola is a great match not just for modern meals, but also some traditional, somewhat forgotten local dishes. What has also been very important for us is that, as always, through this project, we support the local community by including, besides the recipes, the old crafts, and hence the handmade billboard. We are deeply convinced that the strength of our brand is in the fact that it can become part of every aspect of the community in which it operates and to give back to it, leaving a common heritage precisely through such projects,” said Tanja Petrović, marketing director of Coca-Cola Serbia.
The months-long production of the handmade billboard that is set up at Zlatibor was entrusted to the hard working knitters from Zlatibor. It is completely hand-knit with motifs from this region. Soon a billboard will be installed in another part of Serbia, also handmade, but in a technique that is characteristic for the location itself. Both billboards are completely unique and innovative because they integrate old crafts with modern way of communicating with consumers.
B2B RUN: AFTER ZAGREB, RIJEKA, OSIJEK AND SPLIT, IT’S TIME FOR SARAJEVO
The first and largest business event that successfully combined business and running and became the preferred networking platform is expanding from Croatia to the region. After three years of holding in Croatia, the B2B RUN will for the first time gather the business community in the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina – Sarajevo.
“In Croatia this year we have achieved great results. We are very proud of all participants, but also of the organization and all our partners without whom we would not achieve such results. The numbers we achieved bring us motivation, but also great responsibility for the next season. We always want to offer something new and different, and one of the news is certainly the organization of B2B RUN in Sarajevo. This is the first business event of this type in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and we are very happy with the fact that more than 80 companies have responded so far. Stepping out into the region imposed itself as a logical step in the development of our project,” said Dijana Vetturelli, initiator of the B2B RUN events.
The B2B RUN in Sarajevo will be held on Thursday, 5 October, at Wilson’s Walk, starting at 17:30hrs. After running 5 kilometers, all participants and fans will be able to enjoy a gathering with a rich selection of top-quality food and refreshing drinks.
VAU, CROATIA’S NEW DESIGN BRAND
The new Croatian design brand VAU has launched a sophisticated collection of useful and decorative objects made of solid metal, intended as gifts and for personalization of business and private spaces. The design of the collection is signed by the in-house design team of the VAU brand led by Marija Ružić Vukmanić (Creative Director). They combined the functionality of everyday objects in a new form of timeless aesthetics. Letter and bottle openers, candle holders, paper presses and small table organizers are just some of the VAU metal products whose design is inspired by the universal symbolism and highlights long lasting values and enjoyment in everyday rituals.
Initiator and manufacturer of the VAU collection is Zagreb-based creative factory PES, which for 25 years now is developing premium promotional products made from metal, generating the majority of its turnover through exports to the Western European markets. Encouraged by the confirmation of its quality on the foreign market, where design was a great factor for success, PES turned to the creation of its own VAU brand, thereby affirming its design department, engineers and craftsmen. It is intended for people who want to make their space more enjoyable and invest in private and business relations, and is available in the online store www.vau.hr, at the store of the Museum of Contemporary Art in Zagreb and the design shop Take Me Home (Tomićeva 4, Zagreb).
