The regional creative scene has received its winners for this year. On the stage of the in Rovinj, the winners of BalCannes, the regional showcase of the most relevant creative projects from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Slovenia, Serbia and North Macedonia, were announced.
The biggest recognition of the evening, the BalCannes Grand Prix, was awarded to Via Media and Bingo Group for the project It’s Time to Stop!, while the title of Agency of the Year went to Bruketa&Žinić&Grey. Hrvatski Telekom received the recognition for the best advertiser in the region, confirming the continued influence of domestic and regional brands on the creative industry of Southeast Europe.
This year’s edition of BalCannes further demonstrated how the regional scene has, in recent years, shifted towards projects that combine creativity, business results and social impact. This is also confirmed by the new Impact Prix award, intended for projects that have measurably influenced society, culture or the environment, which was also awarded to Via Media and Bingo Group for the project It’s Time to Stop!.
The special Editor’s Pick Award, presented by representatives of industry media from across the region, went to Hrvatski Telekom and Bruketa&Žinić&Grey for the project HT GPS locator – so you always know where your pet is.
Awards were also presented to the best agencies by market: Via Media (Bosnia and Herzegovina), Bruketa&Žinić&Grey (Croatia), McCann Skopje (North Macedonia), McCann Beograd (Serbia) and Futura DDB (Slovenia). Among advertisers, recognitions went to Bingo Group, Hrvatski Telekom, Halkbank Skopje, Koncern Bambi and Podravka.
This year again, BalCannes brought together projects showing how regional creativity is functioning less and less as a local story, and increasingly as a competitive communications space capable of responding to global industry standards. Agencies competed across four main groups: Best on Market, Best in Channel, Best Branding and Rebranding, and Best of Positive Change, while the expert jury awarded bronze, silver and gold awards to the best regional projects.
Food
The gold award in the Food category went to Podravka and Agencija 101 for the project Maestro: Prva mešanica začimb za slovenske jedi. Silver went to Koncern Bambi and Friday Finally for the project WFL/NPLTK.
Alcoholic Beverages
Gold in the category was awarded to Piquentum (Vinski Podrum Buzet) and Studio Sonda for the project Label created by the wine itself – Piquentum Brut Nature. Silver went to Ožujsko pivo and BBDO Zagreb for the project Budi velik, učini malu stvar.
Non-Alcoholic Beverages
Gold in the Non-Alcoholic Beverages category went to Studenac and Imago Ogilvy for the project A CRY FOR HYDRATION. Silver went to Cetina and CTA komunikacije for the project Nature’s most beautiful story.
Telecommunications
In the Telecommunications category, gold went to A1 Hrvatska and BBDO Zagreb for the project Dječja posla. Silver winners were Hrvatski Telekom and Bruketa&Žinić&Grey for the project HT GPS locator – so you always know where your pet is. The bronze award went to Hrvatski Telekom and Imago Ogilvy for the project Da se razumijemo.
Finance and Insurance
In the Finance and Insurance category, gold went to Halkbank Skopje and McCann Skopje for the project Made in shade.

In the Retail category, gold went to Bingo Group and Via Media for the project It’s time to stop!. Silver went to SPAR SLOVENIA, ZDRUŽENJE EUROPA DONNA SLOVENIA and AV STUDIO for the project Pink receipt.

The gold award in the Health & Pharmacy category went to Croatia Poliklinika and Bruketa&Žinić&Grey for the project Your posture is your future. Silver medal winners were Essity / Libresse and BBDO Zagreb for the project Baby Blues. The bronze award went to Onkoman and Futura DDB for the project Text to Dad.
Tourism, Culture and Leisure
The gold award in the Tourism, Culture and Leisure category went to Gradska knjižnica Poreč and Studio Sonda for the project BOOKtiga 2025 – Choose a book, enter the film.
Corporate Communications
In the Corporate Communications category, gold went to Hrvatski Telekom and Imago Ogilvy for the project Moja veza.
Entertainment
In the Entertainment category, gold went to SEAT / CUPRA Germany and Futura DDB for the project Crash Text Auto.
Miscellaneous
The gold award in the Miscellaneous category went to Autonomni ženski centar & partners and McCann Beograd for the project Till Death Do Us Part. Silver went to WWF Adria and Bruketa&Žinić&Grey for the project Panda’s Swear Jar.
Best TV Spot & Film
The gold award in the Best TV Spot & Film category went to Halkbank Skopje and McCann Skopje for the project Made in shade. Silver medal winners were A1 Hrvatska and BBDO Zagreb for the project Dječja posla. The bronze award went to m:tel BiH and Aquarius Group for the project Tri priče, tri pjesme.
Best Online Video
The gold award in the Best Online Video category went to Studenac and Imago Ogilvy for the project A CRY FOR HYDRATION. The glamorous festival stage atmosphere, accompanied by winners’ speeches and the excellent mood of the communications community, elevated the celebration of the best creative projects across the region, while the celebration continued in a more informal tone afterwards.
