Some things are even better with eyes closed – like the first kiss when we feel the butterflies, the favorite songs at the concert, the taste of a favorite drink. But for some unforgettable moments, like a red carpet walk, you want to have your eyes wide open…

Coca-Cola, as one of the main sponsors of the Sarajevo Film Festival for 21 years now, brings these unforgettable moments and stories of two young love couples from different BiH cities, who are coming to the red carpet of the Sarajevo Film Festival. The story is presented through advertising spots for television and outdoor advertising.

After 2014, when he directed a short Coca-Cola film “Bubamara” (Ladybug), Oscar winner Danis Tanović once again directed Coca-Cola’s spots, using the shots of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the enchanting walk on the red carpet of the Sarajevo Film Festival.

“It’s a great pleasure to once again be part of the global Coca-Cola campaign, where we have the opportunity to introduce our country and its beauty. The challenge is, of course, even bigger, because in a short spot we wanted to present the beauty of many cities, but thanks to the excellent crew I think we succeeded. I have to say that the atmosphere in every town was fantastic, and I hope this short movie story will convey what we have experienced on the set,” Tanović said.

The spot was produced by Sarajevo-based agency Fabrika, while McCann Sarajevo was in charge of art direction for the main visuals and the accompanying print materials of the campaign.

Thus McCann Sarajevo – an agency that has been successfully cooperating with Coca-Cola BiH for 20 years – once again had the opportunity to do a masterful job for that company. According to Maida Hambo, Art Director at McCann Sarajevo, “the main visual is inspired by film. It is designed as a film poster with a touch of retro Hollywood movie commercials, and its goal is to glamorously show the elegance and glamor of the main, Gala Prize, that Coca-Cola will award this time.”

The unique experience of the walk on the glamorous red carpet at the spectacular opening of this year’s Sarajevo Film Festival is actually the main prize of Coca-Cola’s prize game this year.

Namely, Coca-Cola’s summer campaign Experience a Movie Story brings prizes to over 200 winners who will be able to feel the charms of the Sarajevo Film Festival with their friends. Six lucky winners will have the chance to win the Gala Award, there will be 210 Film Prizes, and more than 1,000 people will win the Cinema Pack.
