Today we begin a broad survey among regional agencies of what 2015 was like and their expectations of 2016. Our first interviewee is Biljana Kolaković, Regional Managing Director, UM Universal Media.
MEDIA MARKETING: What was 2015 like for UM Universal Media?
BILJANA KOLAKOVIĆ: The Universal Media team will remember this year as one of the most active. By gaining two major clients this year we have expanded our team and worked more on personnel training. We are particularly pleased that in our first year we have learned a lot from each other. The biggest impetus for the future for us is that we are starting the New Year together with all our clients.
The event we are especially proud of was the presentation of our latest research project Wave, our global study on the use of social media. Our communications team on this occasion organized a fantastic business gathering where we shared ideas and experiences on this subject with major players in the business life of Serbia.
MEDIA MARKETING: What will you remember 2015 for?
BILJANA KOLAKOVIĆ: I will remember this year by the birth of two new UM babies: Mona and Uroš.
MEDIA MARKETING: What do you expect from 2016, what are your plans?
BILJANA KOLAKOVIĆ: At the very beginning of January we will start with the realization of one of our key plans for 2016, which is the education of our employees. We have set dates with teachers from our worldwide network who will give us insights into the latest global trends and knowledge from London and New York. Our colleagues from all our regional agencies will gather for this occasion, which will further contribute to the exchange of knowledge and experience among our teams. Our goal is always focused on the realization of the goals of our clients, and to remain experts in what we do demands constant improvement and work with people, including the improvement of our services and the introduction of new technologies.
