The rising stars from communication industry, the winners of competition Young Lions Croatia, will have a possibility to represent Croatia at the international festival in Cannes.
Competition Young Lions Croatia is organized within the festival Days of Communication and it has an added value in the sense that it has humanitarian character. The competition assignment is actually to make a solution for an NGO, which will receive awarded case studies free of charge.
The competition will be held in Zagreb, April 6th, and it will last for 24-hours. The winners of each category, and the Grand Prix winner, will be announced in Rovinj at the festival.
The winning team will receive a reward worth 40.000,00 HRK – paid expenses for trip to Cannes, accommodation and registration fee for the festival Cannes Lions 2018.
To show their appreciation for the work of young professionals, the organizers included a showcase of the case study of finalists in each category in the main program of the festival.
Proud sponsor of this year competition is company Printera who decided to support the rising stars of industry, but also to ensure NGO with quality and creative solution which will give a contribution to their noble mission.

Also, Shutterstock is one of the companies which recognized the value of competition and it will enable young participants access to their database for the purpose of making their case studies.
From this year, Young Lions has five categories. Along with three well-known categories – Design, Digital and PR – two new ones are introduced: Media and Print. First one is for professionals from media agencies and other for creatives from agencies.
Skills and knowledge of young professionals will be tested, and especially their creativity. The participants will have 24 hours to come up with a solution. The competition team consists of two persons under 30 years of age, who can be employees of agencies or young independent professionals.
