A strange character appeared in the Croatian media space in recent days. The character named Djuru shares tips and encourages better life. He marks the beginning of a new campaign for Karlovacko beer with popular and quite hilarious actor Ozren Grabarić in the lead role.
Filip Rabuzin from Heineken Croatia said they want to build a Croatian, close and approachable brand in a humorous way, and the result is Djuru, the local guru, a figure created in cooperation with the agency Bruketa & Žinić OM.
Siniša Waldinger from the agency explains that Djuru is based on the actual research that has shown that Croats, who like to complain much but don’t like to act that much, don’t need some great leader, but a strong motivator. “That’s why we have created a new face and voice of optimism, who shares the wisdom of a fuller life. He is deadly serious when he says that life should not be taken too seriously. We based him on life coaches, but Djuru is more unconventional. His purpose is to encourage people to grab the best of life in Croatia,” said Waldinger.
