Thirteen new members from ten countries have joined the World Out of Home Organization (WOO), further expanding its international representation in the out-of-home (OOH) advertising sector. Among the new members is Croatian company Anić Media, which joins a network of media owners, agencies, suppliers and industry associations from different parts of the world.
The expansion includes members from Europe, North America, the Middle East, Asia and Australasia. Of the 13 new members, eight are national media owners, three are companies providing services or technological solutions for the OOH industry, while the remaining two represent a national media agency and a national industry association.
In the media owners category, alongside Croatia’s Anić Media, the new members include Yeoul Ad from South Korea, ONEIC Media-Seraj from Oman, Inova Media from Qatar, SkyBlue Group from the United Arab Emirates, Vertex from Monaco, and UK-based companies Mobile Media and London International Exhibition Centre (Excel).
Among OOH service providers and suppliers, the new members are US-based ClearLED, New Zealand’s Mortal and Bri Signs from the United Arab Emirates. Pakistan is represented by two new members: the national OOH association APOAA and media agency Hart Communications.
The latest wave of new members follows the most successful annual congress in the organization’s history, held in London in June, which attracted more than 800 delegates. This strong attendance has been accompanied by the continued expansion of the organization’s international network, connecting different segments of the out-of-home advertising industry.
Mark Flys, Chief Operating Officer of WOO, emphasized that the geographical diversity of the new members demonstrates how companies across all segments of the OOH sector recognize the value of international connections through membership in the organization.
He particularly highlighted the addition of Pakistan’s APOAA, ahead of the Pakistan Country Forum, scheduled to take place in Karachi on November 5. The membership expansion will thus be followed by another regional gathering focused on the development and connectivity of the OOH industry.
