On Thursday, 27 October 2016, Marketing Mreža awarded the organizations, companies, institutions and agencies for the best and the most professional individual and integrated campaigns at the second national Festival of Integrated Communications KAKTUS 2016 in Belgrade, Serbia. This year’s competition included 135 entries.
Campaign #CrazyEnoughToChangeTheWorld by the No Ordinary Agency won the award in the category Innovative Integrated Campaign, as well as the Grand Prix in Integrated Campaign of the Year. For the second year in a row McCann Beograd won the Agency of the Year award, while the company Strauss Adriatic was declared Advertiser of the Year.
Campaign “Dobro jutro Džezveri” (“Good Morning Jazzvers”) by agency Leo Burnett and Strauss Adriatic won awards in the categories of Individual Works – TV and Radio. The same agency also won the award in the Event category for the campaign “Jelen unfiltered beer” for Apatin Brewery. In the category of individual works – Print award went to Publicis Belgrade and the Network of Organizations for Children of Serbia (MODS) for the campaign “Violence is not a game.”
Best BTL campaign was declared “Telenor Xmass 3 in 1 Credit Card” by agency FCB Afirma for Telenor bank, while the New Moment New Ideas Company won the award in the category of Public Relations for the “Run for Peace” campaign. The “Twisted Fanta Bottle” by agency Executive Group and Coca-Cola took the victory in the category of Social Media.
McCann Beograd was awarded for two projects in the category Mobile for the app “ARt – the largest virtual exhibition of all time” and in the category of Profit Integrated Campaign for “Lav Popcorn” done for Carlsberg Serbia. This year, the best Viral Video was the project “Jaffa Party” signed by the agency Popular Bruketa & Žinić OM for client Jaffa Crvenka.
Awards in the categories of individual works – Content Marketing and Direct Marketing – went to the agency Pioniri Communications for the campaign “IDEA – Fruits and Vegetables” (client: Mercator S) and “New Year’s gift that traveled an entire year” (client: Findomestic Bank). Agency Homepage and NGO Just Out were awarded in the category Digital for the campaign #JustOut # Manasija2015 and the agency BBDO Ovation won the award for the Best Outdoor Campaign with “Pain in the ____?” made for the company Pharma Swiss.
The jury also awarded agencies Direct Media, Fusion Communications and the National Association of Parents of Children with Cancer for the “I fight too” project in the category of Non-profit Integrated Campaign. This year the best Inbound integrated campaign was the campaign of Eurobank and agency Represent Communications, “Manchester in Belgrade”.
The second national competition KAKTUS 2016 garnered great interest of agencies and companies from Serbia, so 37 agencies and over 40 advertisers competed in 21 categories.
This year’s expert jury consisted of eminent professionals from the creative, PR and digital agencies from Serbia and the region. The jury of Serbia consisted of: Anja Radulović (Leo Burnett), Borislav Miljanović (Represent Communications), Vesna Ćeranić (Executive Group), Vladimir Mitrović (Ovation BBDO), Dejan Ranđić (DNA Communications), Igor Grmuša (Degordian), Ivan Živković (Pioniri Communications), Janko Pavlović (Havas Worldwide Belgrade), Lea Stanković (Communis DDB), Marina Grihović (Headline and Dkit), Miloš Ilić (LUNA/TBWA Belgrade), Miladin Miletić (Popular Bruketa&Žinić OM), Miloje Sekulić (Homepage), Mirko Mandić (SVA), Miro Antić (M2Communications), Nevena Kurtović (Fusion Communications), Nebojša Babić (Orange Studio), Slaviša Savić (New Moment New Ideas Company), Srđan Erceg (HUGE Media), Tamara Bekčić (Chapter 4 PR), Toni Laurenčić (Idea Plus Communications), and Vladimir Ćosić (McCann Beograd), who was this year’s jury president.
Regional jury consisted of: Alen Kekić (I TO NIJE SVE!, Croatia), Vanja Blumenšajn (Señor, Croatia), Vesna Beganović (Via Media, Bosnia and Herzegovina), Zoran Trojar (Sonce.net, Slovenia) and Oliver Noveski (Brand Union, Macedonia).
