The winner of the competition is Vukašin Trajković, a 26-year-old freelance designer. According to the jury, he created an experience, a visual spectacle that both aesthetically and narratively keeps pace with today’s era of visual abundance, ornamentation, modernist maximalism, and global eclecticism reflected in the use of both digital and analog references.
The jury that selected the winner consisted of Slavimir Stojanović Futro, Jana Oršolić, Isidora Nikolić, and Lazar Bodroža, with Ivan Aran serving as jury president.
Two other works were also recognized with special awards: those of Nikola Petrović, designer-entrepreneur, and Nikola Stevanović, graphic designer.
The jury emphasized that, due to the specific aesthetics of the UEPS logo, this task was extremely challenging even for seasoned professionals—let alone for young designers who bravely embarked on this adventure.
About the competition winner: “Sometimes being 26 is enough to become part of UEPS history”
Vukašin Trajković (Vuk Traj) is a self-taught graphic designer who discovered his passion for visual communication in the early years of elementary school. At that time, he began creating logos on the 99designs platform. By the end of primary school, he had completed the IT Academy’s design program, which enabled him to develop technical and creative skills at an early stage.
After finishing high school, he enrolled at the Faculty of Architecture in Belgrade, but soon switched to marketing studies, aiming to combine design knowledge with branding strategies. In parallel, he built his freelance career, mostly collaborating with international clients on branding and web design projects.
Upon completing his studies, he continued working as a full-time freelancer.
His design philosophy is based on the belief that every element should have a reason for its existence and purpose. He does not see design merely as form, but as a process through which ideas gain meaning and structure.
