L’Oréal has been supporting this movement through its Men Expert range. But being the case that men’s health often touches upon many people – not least women and children – why should it be exclusive for men to support Movember?
McCann Copenhagen created the #everyonemovember campaign for L’Oréal Men Expert that gives everyone the possibility to support men’s health in November – even if you can’t grow a beard. Take action and show your moustache!
The campaign #everyonemovember is a simple social media campaign. All you need to do to support the cause is to take a selfie, tag #everyonemovember, place the tag on your face like a moustache and share it with the world.
Movember was invented in Melbourne in 2003, and the fund has since raised billions for research and support in connection with men related diseases such as prostate and testicular cancer.
Tobias Schmidt-Fibiger, CEO of McCann Copenhagen, emphasizes that the purpose of this campaign for L’Oréal Men Expert is to get people to care about men’s health and encourage everyone to support Movember. “I think it’s a nice and subtle way to create a campaign that supports a good cause and exposes L’Oréal in a context that goes beyond commercial purpose.”
The campaign #everyonemovember runs in November at Instagram and Facebook with various influencers.
