One of the most famous world manufacturers of cars and trucks, the Swedish Volvo, filmed their new ad for Volvo Trucks in Croatia, and the shooting took place in late September near Vrlika.
So after Honda, whose last model raced at the Rijeka bypass, another major automotive house decided to record a fascinating commercial that will, no doubt, also do a lot of good to promote Croatia.
In addition to Volvo FH 540 truck with reinforced D13 engine, driven by Louise Marriott, the star of the ad is a professional paraglider Guillame Galvani who was hooked to the truck and did the route along a local, curvy road, and the special treat was Galvani’s passage under the highway overpass.
In just four days this video on YouTube had more than 1,200,000 views.
