United Media Sarl, a member of United Group BV, the leading telecom and media company in Southeast Europe, has announced that it has received unconditional approval from the European Commission to acquire a 50% ownership stake in Alpha TV, one of Greece’s top national broadcasters, from Primos Media Sarl.
The remaining 50% of Alpha TV will continue to be owned by Motor Oil Hellas. In addition, Alpha TV holds a 50% stake in Green Pixel, a production company renowned for creating some of the most-watched original shows in Greece.
