Following last year’s workshop, which generated great interest and resulted in original projects, the initiative continues to support regional talents in promoting authentic television content.
As part of this year’s edition, “Make the Scene – Comedy Edition”, a call is now open for talented writers from Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Montenegro to submit their scripted TV series projects in the genres of comedy and dramedy, in the language of their respective country.
Applications for the pitching program are open from April 25 to May 25, 2025. Each writer may submit up to two projects, provided that the submitted projects have not previously received financial support or won any awards in other competitions or public calls. Participation is possible either individually or in collaboration with a production company.
The pitching session will be held in the language of the participant’s country, in front of a three-member expert jury, as part of the Pula Film Festival from July 10 to 17, 2025. The best project will be awarded €5,000, while the second-place winner will receive professional mentoring support from renowned writers Goran Stanković and Vladimir Tagić, with the aim of further project development.
