Students who want to work in marketing and communications but have so far had limited opportunities to connect with the industry are among the candidates the organisers of Voices of the Future Fellowship 2027 particularly encourage to apply. Previous work experience is not a requirement. Participation requires a good command of English and a willingness to dedicate approximately four hours a week to the programme.
The programme, organised by the Effie LIONS Foundation, will accept 12 students from around the world. Applications are open to students in the final years of undergraduate and postgraduate studies who are interested in a career in the marketing and communications industry.
Over eight months, participants will receive training in contemporary marketing, artificial intelligence and leadership, alongside individual mentoring from industry experts. Work on a real marketing brief forms part of the programme, allowing participants to apply the knowledge they gain with those experts’ support. Most activities will take place online.
Part of the programme will also take place at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, scheduled for 21–25 June 2027 in Cannes. Travel, accommodation, festival passes and other related expenses will be covered for selected participants. Both the application and participation in the entire programme are free.
The new edition follows the programme’s first cohort, and applications are open until 22 November 2026. Detailed eligibility requirements, information about the selection process and the online application form are available on the official programme website.
