Toyota and Saatchi & Saatchi Los Angeles have made a charming new ad that illustrates the plight of a crash test dummy who has to seek new jobs after company’s automatic safety features made him all but obsolete.
The latest spot of this campaign thus features Stan, a crash test dummy who is going through existential crisis, trying to find a purpose in new thrilling jobs, but nothing quite compares to crashing into a wall at speed behind a wheel.

Toyota’s safety suite—branded “Toyota Safety Sense”—includes computerized tools like collision detection with automatic braking and lane drift detection with corrective steering, which come standard on a number of new 2017 models like the Prius and Corolla – and is driving the dummies out of work.
Luckily, Stan ultimately finds a new job, which he loves, but you’ll have to watch the ad to see what it is.
