Air Serbia has launched a new campaign, developed by Communis DDB, with TV ads that could all start with the classic joke first line “Three guys are sitting on a plane…”. The ads are intended to promote different fare rates to the same destination, as offered by the Serbian national airline carrier.
Communis DDB designed and implemented the concept of the campaign, whose exclusive ambassador is famous Serbian actor Miloš Biković. The popular actor doesn’t only appear in one major role, but in three, all of whom are present in the ad at the same time.
Namely, in order to promote the various three tariffs of economy class available to passengers when flying Air Serbia, Miloš transformed into three different people, who are on the same flight. Charming spots have proven to be the best way to promote travel tailored to the traveller’s wishes. In the campaign, in one of the videos, a special guest was also engaged. The man who appears only for a moment, and flashes his payment card to pay drinks for the three Bikovićs who are in the economy class. He is Silver Biković, who represents the Business All Inclusive tariff.
Goran Ruškuc, Creative Director of Communis DDB, said that the fact that you can travel to the same destination, in the same class, at various tariffs, was very inspirational in creating this campaign.
“It seemed very tempting to board three different versions of the same person on the same flight, and sit them next to each other. After that, the whole campaign simply rolled out seamlessly,” Ruškuc explained.
The star of the campaign, Miloš Biković, wrote on his Instagram profile that he had spent so much time on Air Serbia flights lately, that the recording of the ad for this company was simply a logical next step.
