Youth in Serbia are not interested in politics, unless they can gain some benefit from it. They say they fight for what they believe in, and yet they’re a generation without rebellion. They recognize IT as the future and admire those who earned their own money. They place imperative on experience, rather than possession.
All these are the findings from the research conducted by expert center McCann Truth Central Belgrade, who wanted to know the truth about the young people in Serbia. The research was to find out what are their goals, fears, hopes, passions and to determine similarities and differences with their peers around the world.
The comprehensive study of McCann Truth Central titled The Truth about Youth was done in 18 other countries. It included over 11,000 respondents aged 16-29 years, who agreed to help better understand them, and take a look at their lives in an objective manner.
