“The collaboration with the Academy of Fine Arts in Sarajevo has been ongoing for a decade now, and it’s a pleasure to continue this beautiful story. It is a well-known idea – a marriage of banking and art – as the gallery space in the big world banks is already traditionally known concept. In the spirit of social responsibility, banks support those who enrich us all. Given that we as a socially responsible company are focused on helping children and young people, once again we decided to take the same route and support young, upcoming artists. Today we can say that we are proud of a joint, successful partnership that lasts for ten years now. In this way, for the best students of the Academy, talented young people, we have created the opportunity to present their works to the public – most of them for the first time. On the other hand, different month-to-month exhibitions decorate and refine the space in our central building, and give our clients and our employees the opportunity to enjoy art,” said Belma Hadžiomerović, Director of Marketing and Corporate Communications & Sustainability Management at Raiffeisen Bank BH.
Joint collaboration between Raiffeisen Bank and the Academy of Fine Arts has been extended by signing the Memorandum on Cooperation. On this occasion, the Bank awarded the best students of the Academy one-time scholarships and gave them the opportunity to present their works to the public in the Raiffeisen Gallery space.
During the year, the Gallery will feature works by: Ismar Žalica from the Graphic Design Department; Matei Osenk Saller, Department of Graphics; Dolores Mrnjavac, Sculpture Department; Damir Ćatibović, Design Department; Safet Begić, Teaching Department; Ana Matić, student of the Painting Department will be exhibiting.
A joint exhibition by these students has been organized on the occasion of continuation of cooperation between the Bank and the Academy. So far, Raiffeisen Gallery has hosted more than 50 exhibitions.
The settings can be viewed at the Raiffeisen Central Bank building, Zmaja od Bosne street in Sarajevo, on working days from 08:00 until 16:00hrs, and all interested can support young artists by buying their works.
