The profession chooses the profession: Effie Awards Croatia 2026 jury announced

An expert jury composed of representatives from agencies, advertisers and media will evaluate campaigns that have successfully connected creative solutions with measurable business results on the Croatian market.

Effie Awards Croatia 2026, one of the key regional recognitions for marketing effectiveness, once again brings together an expert jury that will decide on the most successful campaigns on the Croatian market. The focus of the competition remains on projects that convincingly connect creative solutions with measurable business results, thereby reaffirming Effie’s role as a relevant benchmark of real market impact. The best entries will be selected by a jury made up of experienced industry professionals, with a clear task to recognise projects that set new standards of strategic and business excellence.

Alongside jury president Iva Barbarić Kasun (Zagrebačka banka), the jury will consist of 31 additional experts: Josip Buzov (Imago Ogilvy), Domagoj Davidović (MinusMinus Agency), Dunja Delić (Konzum), Petra Gajica (PINK MOON), Lea Ileković Žigić (Kaufland Hrvatska), Branka Bajt (Hrvatski Telekom), Marina Bolanča (Abeceda komunikacije), Marko Jambrešić (dentsu Croatia), Antonio Karlović (WPP Media), Nada Kaurin Knežević (Sveučilište Algebra Bernays), Davor Bruketa (Bruketa&Žinić&Grey), Bruno Krčelić (ENNA grupa), Željko Krešić (BBDO Zagreb), Ana Krstić (Publicis), Ana Lakić (Jamnica plus), Matej Lončarić (RTL / CME Adria), Saša Marković (Perutnina Ptuj), Irena Merkaš (Microsoft), Goranka Mijić (Boiler by Degordian), Saša Milinović (OMD), Andrea Mišura Žuvela (Mizuco), Marin Ostojić (ZOO agencija), Vanja Prahić (Croatia osiguranje), Tatjana Rajković (Kabinet 3C), Maja Šercer (Ledo / Nomad Foods), Mate Šola (McCann Zagreb), Maja Šplajt (Real grupa), Krunoslav Stančić (Coca-Cola HBC), Igor Vranjković (HEINEKEN Hrvatska), Josip Tvrtković (Valicon) and Dubravka Štefanac (A1 Hrvatska).

The Effie competition is an extremely important platform that promotes effectiveness, strategic consistency and measurable contributions to business results, while also encouraging knowledge exchange and the development of the profession. I look forward to collaborating with the jury members and to an in-depth review of this year’s entries which, I am convinced, reflect the growing complexity and advancement of the marketing profession. I am confident that the presented projects will once again confirm that creativity, innovation and a strategic approach can be successfully connected with clear, measurable and sustainable business impact,” said this year’s jury president Iva Barbarić Kasun (Zagrebačka banka).

We would like to remind you that today is the last day to submit entries within the regular deadline, after which the late entry period will follow, open until 20 February 2026. This year’s eligibility period covers projects realised between 20 August 2024 and 20 February 2026, with a focus on campaigns that demonstrated clear and measurable marketing effectiveness.

In the Long-Term Effectiveness category, which rewards continuity and sustainability of marketing success, eligible projects and campaigns are those implemented on the Croatian market between 20 February 2023 and 20 February 2026.

A novelty of this year’s edition is a special incentive for new entrants, as well as for those who have not submitted their projects in the past three years, with a 30% discount on the first entry of the season. With this, Effie further opens space for a broader circle of professionals and teams who prove real market impact through their work.

Detailed information on categories, deadlines and the application process is available on the official competition website www.effie.hr, while the awards ceremony will take place as part of Dani komunikacija in May.
