The numbers don’t lie – Weekend.17 set new records and pushed the boundaries of what’s possible! With more than 6,500 attendees, 220 speakers from around the world, spread across 9 stages and four different festivals – Weekend Media Festival, HR.Weekend, AI Weekend, and Finance Weekend. The old Tobacco Factory in Rovinj was full of inspiration, fun, and ideas, and the atmosphere was unforgettable!

Imagine a gathering of Aleksander Čeferin, Dragan Bjelogrlić, Mojmira Pastorčić, Thomas Erikson, and Fedde Le Grand all in one place—that’s exactly what happened at Weekend.17! Aleksander Čeferin shared his journey from being a lawyer to becoming the President of UEFA, while Thomas Erikson, the author of Surrounded by Idiots, made the audience laugh with his statement: “Sometimes, you find that idiot in the mirror.”

Of course, we can’t forget Zoran Kesić, whose humor and legendary panel “Zoko is Watching You” had everyone laughing. If you caught his gaze, you’re already halfway to a better future!

The world of artificial intelligence made its mark with the first AI Weekend. Packed halls proved just how much interest in AI is growing. Discussions covered everything from ethics to creativity in the age of AI. Additionally, the panelists explored how Croatia can become a global leader in the AI industry.

Besides AI, there was a special focus on human resources. At HR.Weekend, experts tackled the challenges of modern work environments, including the balance between business and private life, and the impact of technology on the future of work.

Finance Weekend answered questions about how technology, sustainability, and globalization are redefining business and how that reflects on the future of the economy. The most important people from the financial sector gathered in Rovinj, creating a platform for exchanging knowledge, experiences, and ideas.
