Agency Pristop has prepared a new communications platform for Telekom Slovenia, which promotes the realization of dreams and achieving the set goals. For the leading Slovenian telecommunications operator, Pristop has created a story of a young girl, football player, living her dreams, after managing to bring them to life through daily hard work. The story was warmly greeted by the Slovenian audience, which has recognized the ad as a recognition for the exceptional successes of Slovenian male and female athletes and teams, and their national significance.
“This year there are two major sports events on the calendar. The Summer Olympics and the European Football Championship. Telekom Slovenia actively supports the Slovenian sport, so we have this year created a communication platform based on sport and the values that stem from it. We thus emphasize the values that are important in sports (commitment to goals, perseverance, dedication, passion, loyalty, cooperation, friendship, success, joy) and that we associate with our brand. These values are the basis of the main slogan of the campaign, ‘Let nothing stop you!’, which is also a motive in which everyone can look for inspiration to achieve their goals,” said Niko Kušar, Head of Marketing Communications at Telekom Slovenia.

Aljoša Bagola, Executive Creative Director at Pristop, also shared some thoughts about creating a sports story and screenplay: “I wanted to talk about the hard work, sacrifice and efforts that are a prerequisite for success. I wanted to remind people that we are not a small country, but a great nation; that we are not fragile, but courageous, and that fairy tales do not write themselves. It wasn’t a desire that a national brand, which can and knows how to convey such a message, enthusiastically reminds – or even more pretentiously – awakens the nation. It was just a necessity to warn of difficult and hard work as a prerequisite for success.”
In the coming months the campaign will include the Olympians, and besides them, an important role will be played by the fans, whose tweets will encourage the athletes. They will even compete in the contest for a trip to the Olympic Games in Rio.
