One Swedish company that makes wood protection products, Sioo:x, had a conundrum of how to promote their products. Perhaps boring, but still indisputably important, company’s products are their source of pride, and just to show how confident they are in their quality the company has decided to make a really long-lasting stunt.
In collaboration with their agency Stendahls, the brand created “the world’s most boring billboard”, and the most extraordinary fact about it is that it will stay up for 12 years!
The agency built a three-sided billboard made of wood panels treated with Sioo:x products, which will brave the weather in Sweden’s coastal city of Malmo for the next twelve years to demonstrate the product’s effectiveness.
You can expect a follow up on this story in 2030 – unless we somehow forget it till then.
