Months of preparations have now culminated with the placing of products of eight small entrepreneurs on the shelves of the selected RODA supermarkets in Serbia, thus starting the Super Serbia project with the aim of supporting domestic entrepreneurs.
The public will get to learn everything about the entrepreneurial “from idea to the shelf” path on the TV show Super Serbia, which will be broadcasted weekly as of 21 October on TV PRVA at 18:45. In order to prepare their products adequately for the shelves and then promote them, entrepreneurs were provided with maximum professional and moral support, and the products that will win the hearts of consumers and viewers during the three months of Super Serbia will have a sure place on the shelves even after the project is completed.
Matija Protić, Director of Marketing Sector at Mercator, said on this occasion: “All the products we have on Roda Market shelves within the Super Serbia project are the fruit of creativity and great dedication of Serbian entrepreneurs. Their dedication best describes the time and effort they have invested together with our experts so that their production plants and products would meet all standards and eventually find themselves on our shelves. We are very pleased to be able to offer our customers these unique and very high quality products today. It is our customers who will have the final say in the project, because through the purchase of products they will support Serbian entrepreneurs who have been given a great chance through Super Serbia.”
The special shelf of Super Serbia project in selected RODA megamarkets will offer products by eight local entrepreneurs who are participating in the Super Serbia project:
- Natural stick deodorant Freshka gora (mint, vanilla, lavender, lemon)
- Kiki Pet Accessories for dogs
- Zlato u tegli – (Gold in a Jar) honey with additives (blueberry, raspberry, nettle seeds, cocoa, chia seeds)
- Radanska ruža – peppers and ajvar
- Archiplay – construction set for constructive play
- Fatalni začini – (Fatal Spices) chilly sauce, tomato sauce, smoked tomatoes in olive oil
- Sirana Jovanović – royal cheese, cheese with sage and lavender
- Razbeerbriga – craft beer
