The Coca-Cola Company and Concern Bambi campaigns, signed by McCann Beograd in cooperation with UM Beograd, won Bronze awards for effectiveness and achievement of business results at the second Effie Awards in Serbia in competition with 49 entries, while Ahold Delhaize’s campaign was the finalist in the Retail category.
The campaign “Serbia is neXt inspiration” (“Srbija je neXt inspiracija”) for neXt and The Coca-Cola Company won Bronze. McCann Beograd and UM Beograd team worked on the campaign. Concern Bambi and Plazma Slana won Bronze for the “New Plasma Experience” (“Novo Plazma iskustvo”) campaign, created by the McCann Beograd team. The Ahold Delhaize campaign for the brand Maxi found its place among the finalists of the competition.
Effie Awards reward campaigns that are effective in launching sales and increasing the recognition of companies and brands, and thus represent proof of cost-effectiveness and effective creative approach, which together stimulate clients’ business and increase their market share.

Jovana Petrović, Head of Regional Connection Planning and Digital at UM Beograd, emphasized: “It is a special honor when a campaign receives the Effie Award because of the fact that its effects are judged by the most qualified people in the industry which makes our work recognizable and appreciated. This is a great honor for UM, and the key to success is actually the clients’ trust. Only partnership can lead to success, and this is what we are persistently doing, and the awards prove it.”
Effie evaluates the effectiveness of advertising campaigns according to world standards and recognizes strong ideas that have achieved the goals of clients and brands. It is these awards that are the best indicator that marketing and advertising investments are worthwhile and bring significant results for the clients’ business.
