At the prestigious Red Dot Award: Brands & Communication Design 2025 ceremony in Berlin’s Konzerthaus, Studio Sonda won Radenska’s first-ever Red Dot for the redesign of the multivitamin drink Oraketa.
This is one of the world’s most esteemed recognitions for design and branding, awarded since 1955. This year’s edition included numerous entries from all over the world, evaluated by an international jury of 30 experts.
The Red Dot award further confirms the success of Oraketa’s new visual identity, launched in 2024, through which the brand achieved a strong market breakthrough.
The new packaging design retains the playfulness and energy characteristic of Oraketa, while dynamic graphic lines, vibrant colors, and floating fruit motifs communicate the flavors and a sense of movement. The special 19g HoReCa packaging resembles a rocket in shape, emphasizing the brand’s identity full of energy and fun.
Following the redesign, Oraketa has also stood out with impressive sales results. In 2024, compared to 2023, the 19g HoReCa packaging recorded a 13% increase in volume and 12% in value, while the 400g retail packaging saw a 28% increase in volume and 54% in value. According to research by Valicon conducted after the launch of the new design, 79% of respondents rated the rebranding and new design positively, while 90% stated that Oraketa is clearly differentiated from the competition.
Radenska representatives emphasized that this recognition confirms the importance of design in brand development and product sales success.
“At Radenska Adriatic, we are extremely proud of our first Red Dot Award. The redesign of Oraketa, the excellent sales results, and the recognition that transcends our regional borders are the result of a thoughtful brand strategy, close cooperation with the agency, and excellence in design – something Studio Sonda has in abundance. The Red Dot Award confirms that we are on the right path – with products that are not only high-quality but also meet the highest design standards,” said Brand Manager Primož Rok Puppis.
Studio Sonda, the creative team from Vižinada that now boasts more than 20 Red Dot awards, had already seen Oraketa win at BalCannes, where it received a silver in the Rebranding category.
The Red Dot Award Gala was held on November 7, 2025, in Berlin, and the winning works, including Oraketa, will be exhibited from spring 2026 at the Red Dot Design Museum Essen.
