After the news about yet another victory at the Red Dot awards a couple of days ago, Studio Sonda once again brightened our day with some great news.
Namely, the project of the future Sonda Creative Center was presented in Vižinada yesterday, which follows the earlier signing of a Contract by which the Municipality of Vižinada gave Studio Sonda rights to use a construction plot of 2077m2 for 50 years, which was the first step in the development of the Creative Center.
The mission of the Creative Center will be to raise the business, educational, cultural and tourist levels of the inland Istria, and the entire Istrian County, based on the development of all aspects of creativity, while respecting the current development strategies.
They chose inland Istria for the construction of the Creative Center for a purpose, wanting to contribute to the development of this part of the peninsula, which is not as popular for tourism as its coastal part. Most of the space of the Sonda Creative Center will be public spaces designed for business, educational and socially useful content, intended for business and professional public but also for all age groups, from kindergarten kids to mature people.
The Center will offer its users presentations and lectures by experts from all areas of creativity, involvement in creative processes on concrete projects of Studio Sonda, cultural events and presentations, as well as the possibility of internship for young people from Croatia and abroad.
Through this socially useful work, Sonda Creative Center will produce a whole range of projects and products useful for Vižinada and the County, and will contribute to the branding of Vižinada and its products. The hard working team from Studio Sonda already has plans for travel mapping of the city, interactive apps, children’s playgrounds, original souvenirs, and more.
The construction of the Cultural Center, of course, also has a development element for Studio Sonda, which will have its business offices in the Center, and part of the agency’s income generated by expansion of the business and the client base will be used for financing the programs of the Cultural Center.
The planned construction costs range from HRK 3.5 to 5.5 million, and the overal project financing will be borne by the Studio Sonda from its own funds and from planned applications to European co-financing projects.
