SOF 2026: Futura DDB Leads the Ranking of the Most Successful Agencies, Mastercard Among the Strongest Brands of the Festival

This year’s Top 10 ranking of agencies and brands at SOF further highlighted which companies currently hold the strongest creative and market influence within the Slovenian communications industry.

After Futura DDB was named Agency of the Year and Mastercard Brand of the Year at the jubilee 35th edition of the Slovenian Advertising Festival – SOF, the official Top 10 rankings of the festival’s most successful agencies and brands were also announced.

This year’s results once again confirm how the Slovenian market continues to build a strong combination of established agency systems, strategic communication projects, and an increasingly pronounced focus on social relevance, craft, and integrated campaigns.

At the top of the ranking of the festival’s most successful agencies is Futura DDB, which once again confirmed its long-term creative consistency and stable presence among the festival’s most successful projects.

Second place went to Pristop, while POVEM ranked third, the agency that marked this year’s SOF with the project “Geste vključenosti: Što pa roka!” created for Mastercard. The campaign won a Grand Prix and further strengthened Mastercard’s position as the festival’s most successful brand.

Among the festival’s ten most successful agencies were also Luna TBWA, AV Studio, DROM Agency, Herman & partnerji, Agencija 101, Aritmija, and Shift / Digital Da Vincis.

A particularly notable result was also achieved by DROM Agency through the campaign “Petarde? Ne, hvala!” for TAM-TAM, which won one of the festival’s Grand Prix awards and further confirmed the growing focus on socially relevant and publicly engaged communication projects.

In addition to the agency ranking, SOF also published the list of the festival’s most successful brands, further showing which companies and advertisers achieved the greatest communication relevance on the Slovenian market this year. 

This year, the festival gathered more than 1,400 communications industry professionals, while the central themes of the program included artificial intelligence, the future of creativity, audience trust, and changes in the relationship between brands and consumers.

This year’s SOF once again demonstrated how the most successful projects are increasingly campaigns that manage to combine creativity, strategic relevance, and a broader social context, which is becoming one of the key criteria of the modern communications industry.

This year’s results further confirm that SOF today is no longer just a review of the best campaigns of the year, but also an important indicator of changes within the regional communications industry – from the way creative relevance is built to how agencies and brands manage to maintain long-term market and cultural influence.
