About the Project: Alternate Re[AI]lity
“Alternate Re[AI]lity: Computer History Circa 1890” is a social media video series that reimagines a fictional 1890s computer age through the lens of artificial intelligence. The format mimics archive-style silent films, creating a faux documentary series about imaginary computer and gaming innovations from over 130 years ago.
The project uses real exhibits from the PEEK&POKE Museum, including early computers, consoles, phones, and space tech, reimagined through modern AI tools like Midjourney, Runway, Pika, Luma, and the AI music generator Udio.
The campaign has already earned recognition being nominated for The Webby Awards 2025, winning Gold at SOF (Slovenian Advertising Festival), Silver at the Epica Awards and Bronze at The Anthem Awards.
