IAB Global Network announced the launch of the first edition of IAB Global Creator Week on July 23, which will take place from September 14 to 18, 2026. Slovenia is among the participating markets, where IAB Slovenia will organize the Meet: Creator event.

The meeting will take place on September 15 in Ljubljana and has been announced as a working session for participants who jointly shape Slovenia’s creator-related marketing ecosystem. The program is intended for creators and influencers, agencies, advertisers, platforms, media and other partners.

Slovenia is one of 15 countries whose national IAB organizations are participating in the initiative. The others are Australia, Brazil, Canada, Germany, Ireland, Mexico, New Zealand, Peru, Poland, South Africa, Türkiye, Ukraine, the United Kingdom and the United States. The regional organizations IAB Europe and IAB MENA have also joined the global program.

The initiative was launched to provide markets with a shared space for discussing local priorities and broader creator marketing challenges. IAB identified collaboration, education, professional standards, industry best practices, transparency, measurement and more consistent governance models among its main areas of focus.

According to data published with the announcement, more than 200 million people worldwide identify as content creators, while approximately 50 million are considered professional or semi-professional creators. The growth of the sector, IAB stated, has increased the need for more reliable measurement, clearer rules and more efficient collaboration between markets.

Programs will differ from country to country and will be adapted to local priorities. Some will include panels and discussions with industry representatives, while others will focus on local initiatives, professional practices and market development.

In London, IAB UK will organize the Creator Marketing Growth Summit on September 15, focusing on campaign execution, measurement, collaboration governance and long-term brand building. On the same day, IAB CreatorFronts will take place in New York and has been presented as an upfront format fully focused on the creator economy and connecting buyers with providers of creator partnerships.

In Toronto, the Data Night Toronto program will cover partnership models, content strategies, measurement and business outcomes. Germany’s BVDW will organize a meeting in Berlin focused on the roles of brands, agencies, management and platforms, while IAB MENA will hold a forum in Dubai on measurement, trust, governance, the integration of creator marketing and the development of podcasting.

The virtual IAB Europe event will take place on September 16 and focus on responsible creator culture, transparency and accountability in European digital advertising. On the same day, IAB Brasil will dedicate part of its Adtech & Branding 2026 program to the creator economy, while IAB South Africa will organize a webinar on the business of creators, content disclosure, tax obligations and regulation.

Programs have also been announced in Peru, Mexico, New Zealand, Türkiye and Ukraine. IAB Mexico will discuss a proposed standard contract for creator partnerships and the development of professional standards, while IAB New Zealand will address the planning, measurement and business role of creator marketing. The event in Istanbul will focus on creator influence and new models of collaboration with brands, while the program in Kyiv will cover trust, authenticity, responsibility, technology and community building.

Ireland’s Creator Marketing Summit will take place on September 9, immediately before the central week. The program will address platforms, campaign strategies, measurement, regulation and long-term partnerships.

The local events will be accompanied by a central digital hub featuring an overview of the programs, key conclusions and educational materials from IAB organizations. In addition to the organizations hosting events, content will also be prepared by IAB members from Argentina, Austria, Chile, Italy, Southeast Asia, India, Spain, Sweden and Uruguay.

IAB Global Creator Week is designed as a long-term platform for international collaboration rather than a one-time initiative. Its goals include knowledge exchange between markets, better alignment of buying and planning cycles, and more efficient execution of multinational creator campaigns.
