More than thirty prominent speakers within six thematic assemblies will present and analyze the latest international trends and the impact of public relations, and best practices in Slovenian public relations will be presented by numerous Slovenian communicators.
The common point of all six thematic assemblies of the two-day conference is collaboration and networking (intrasourcing and crowdsourcing): networking and digital communication, internal communication and engagement, harmonization of business and corporate communications, measuring the effects and impact of communication, media changes and changes in the media and the right to information, media and ethics in public communication.
Klavs Valskov, director of the brand General Electric Oil & Gas and president of IABC EMENA (European part of the International Association of Business Communicators) will speak on the role of internal communication in intrasourcing and crowdsourcing and its added value for the business. Practical use of upgraded principles from Barcelona on the measurement and evaluation of communication will be presented by Ben Levine, vice president of Ketchum Global Research & Analytics and a board member of AMEC, the International Association for the Measurement and Evaluation of Communication. The art of digital conversation that require open organizations will be discussed by Thibault Lesénécal, director of Internet communications in the European Parliament, where they simultaneously manage communications on 12 digital platforms in 26 languages. These are just three distinguished experts who will enrich the program of this year’s SKOJ with their experiences in various fields of communication.
SKOJ will also feature good practices of Slovenian public relations. Experiences will be shared with the participants by representatives of Zavarovalnica Triglav, Danfoss Trata, Telekom Slovenia, Siemens, Lidl, Halcom, Adriatic Slovenica, Si.mobil and others. The first day of the conference the Slovenian Society for Public Relations will announce their Primus, the best communicator among Slovenian managers, and will present Prizma awards for excellence in communication programs.
For twenty years now SKOJ is the central conference on public relations in Slovenia and the oldest of its kind in the region. This year again it will offer an insight into the latest communication and business trends, challenges and problems as well as solutions for them.
