The internet site of the pharmacy Oaza zdravlja (Oasis of Health) from Serbia has been nominated for the best Internet site in the world by professionals from creative and advertising industry, members of the Creativepool site.
The website of the online pharmacy store Oaza zdravlja was designed and built during the first half of 2018, and it was promoted and put into operation in July 2018.
Vladimir Suvodolac, leader of the team from Foster + Svensson agency that designed this website, said the main “guideline” for them was the simplicity and calmness of the site, as well as a minimalist approach to the presentation of all the necessary elements that provide visitors and customers with all the information they need.
“We governed ourselves with simplicity and practical approach, imagining what we ourselves want when we try to buy something online. First, it is important that everything be as clear as possible, and that all the information is simple and accessible, and after that we also needed to provide a practical access to the purchase of a product. That’s exactly why the site was made, because in a couple of years digital will take the lead in sales and communication in general,” explains Suvodolac, adding: “It’s interesting to make a visually creative site, but if it’s too abstract, a small number of people will know how to use it.”
“The digitization of the pharmaceutical industry is important at a time when technologies are rapidly advancing, and when we want to unify two industries: the pharmaceutical and creative industries. Defined photos, product descriptions that we want to focus on, product sales, as well as the education of site visitors by providing all the information on current health and prevention issues, and then the features of the products, all this makes a complete story, which you tell to the visitors of the site, simultaneously encouraging them to come more often because you always have information for them that they can use in their daily lives,” said Nataša Radičević Nikolić, Marketing Director of ZU Pharmacy “Oaza zdravlja”.
These awards are awarded once a year and the best are selected by public votes and votes of a global jury, consisting of marketing and advertising professionals, and directors of creative and marketing agencies.
The jury of this competition thus includes experts from companies such as Bank of England, BBC Studios, CNN, Facebook, Jägermeister, Freeview, Vodafone, The Walt Disney Company. The agencies that will also be members of the jury are AnalogFolk, BETC, Grey, Mother, R/GA, VCCP and others.
