Second Season of Popular Zvjerići Coming Soon to Konzum and Mercator

The project will run from August 26th to November 3rd, during which customers can collect stickers when making purchases and buy plush toys at significantly reduced prices.

Zvjerići are returning to Konzum and Mercator on August 26th, where children will have the opportunity to meet new plush toys from the group of wild animals that live in our rivers, forests, and lakes during the second season of the popular children’s loyalty program. Through play and fun with Zvjerići, this year’s program will further encourage raising awareness about the importance of longer and quality time spent by children outdoors, primarily in nature, and learning about animal species from our environment.

Time spent in nature is extremely important for children’s development. Outdoor time allows children to explore and learn in a natural setting, which contributes to their physical, emotional, and social development. Nature stimulates creativity, increases physical activity, and reduces stress, helping children develop healthier habits and strengthen their immunity.

Additionally, getting to know the animals that live in nature further enriches the outdoor experience. Through play and observing animals in their natural habitat, children learn about the importance of each species in the ecosystem. This experience stimulates curiosity, develops empathy, and fosters responsibility towards nature.

“For the sixth consecutive year, Konzum and Mercator are bringing children’s loyalty programs to our market, which have captured the immense attention of children. Education through fun has been very well received by younger age groups in previous years when socially responsible themes important for healthy growth and learning, such as healthy nutrition, the preservation of marine life, the protection of endangered wild animal species, and the importance of bees for humanity and the entire ecosystem, were highlighted through programs like Zvjerići 1, Zdravoljupci 1 and 2, Zumići, and Morsovci. I believe that the new theme brought by Zvjerići 2 will also be interesting and beneficial for children,” said Haris Arnautović, head of the Marketing Service of Konzum d.o.o., which manages the Konzum and Mercator brands in the BiH market.
