Sarajevo Brewery has prepared a new treat for beer lovers – the unfiltered Sarajevsko beer, dubbed “rolled”, which will now be available in bottles and not just on tap at restaurants owned by the Brewery.
“Sarajevsko Nefiltrirano, ‘rolled’, is now available in other restaurants as well. This beer is a true gastronomic delicacy. It’s unfiltered light lager beer, which, because of the absence of filtration process, contains yeast and therefore has some enhanced favorable effects on health. We called it ‘rolled’ because the bottle needs to be placed on the table and rolled two-three times before consummation, in order to stir the yeast that had settled at the bottom of the bottle and mix it with beer,” reads the press release from Sarajevo brewery.
Yeast contained in Sarajevsko Nefiltrirano is rich in vitamins of Group B, and is rich in many minerals such as iron, manganese, sodium, calcium, magnesium and the like. It also contains traces of selenium, which is known as an antioxidant that protects cells and tissues from free radical damage. Germanium, which is also found in yeast, has multiple health benefits on the human body and improves the body’s resistance to viral infections, flu and regulates blood pressure. Sarajevsko Nefiltrirano has hints of honey and caramel, it is easy to drink. This great-tasting beer goes well with roast. It’s served unopened, in the original packaging, and instructions for consumption are printed on the label.
