The first day of the RSVP Festival, the only regional events dedicated to the event industry, at the Plaza Event Center, brought together event managers and regional experts from event industry, who could listen to a variety of lectures, workshops and panels and find out news from the industry, and all the while they could choose for themselves what they want to listen at any moment.
Keynote speakers Caspar Mason (Jack Morton Worldwide) and Bo Krüger (Moving Minds) got great reactions from the audience and received a number of questions in the informal atmosphere after the lecture. Mason talked about artificial intelligence (AI) and illustrated how its application is already transforming the world of events, but the most significant changes are still ahead. Krüger held the workshop Meeting Design Game – a new innovative planning tool, featuring an innovative card game that can be an excellent planning tool. At the end of the program on the first day, he held a lecture on 3 event trends that will change the way of holding meetings.
Klara Šimunović and Katarina Podobnik talked about Art Interventions in Business, YouTuber Maša Zibar, owner of the channel Mashin ‘the Beauty, talked about why event agencies and clients should think about engagement of influencers, and Jovan Marjanović Vanja presented the Festival of Street Players, which is held every year in Novi Sad. At the panel Make Them Really Work for You – How to get more from an event agency? Mirjana Badurina Čanak (SAP), Illeana Cesarec (MPG), Slavica Olujić Klapcic (Katapult) and Igor Vukasović (Addiko banka) jointly concluded that the quality of client and agency relations depends on trust, respect, transparency, openness, good communication and planning and evaluation.
On the second day of the festival, participants had a number of opportunities to meet, socialize, and exchange “battle stories” because the lectures were held in an informal atmosphere, so the presentations often transformed into pleasant conversations, discussions and sharing of experiences. Alen Nađsombat, marketing director of NK Osijek, told how the club returned fans to the stadium, Dijana Zorić from the Laboratory of Fun told how to acquire and keep a client with a very entertaining presentation, and Iva Radošević, Matija Brlek and Matej Pašalić presented their project Bike Polo International Tournament Zagreb – Between Sports and Culture. Aleksandra Uhernik Đurđek, Smiljana Štrbac, Nikolina Bradić Belobrajdić, Jasminka Jelčić and Debora Petrović discussed the relationship between incentives and motivations of employees on the panel titled Corporate Events – Ways To Inspire And Motivate.
