Rising Star Academy, an educational program organized by WomanComm Club, has opened applications for its fourth generation of participants. The program is intended for female students and young professionals who are just entering the world of communications and want to develop their knowledge and skills through a combination of education and practical work.
The Academy covers topics in marketing, advertising, media, and PR, but the focus is not exclusively on theory. Participants will work on concrete projects under the mentorship of industry professionals, positioning the program as an entry point for understanding real business processes and challenges.
As highlighted by Irena Miličević Vukoja, founder of WomanComm Club, interest in the program continues to grow each year, with a special focus on connecting young talents with experienced professionals from Bosnia and Herzegovina and the region.
Additional incentive comes through the program’s award segment – the most successful participant will receive a cash prize and the opportunity to have her project implemented, directly linking education with practice.
In collaboration with partners, five free participation spots have also been secured. These are intended for students and young professionals who already have some exposure to the communications industry or are being educated in this field. For four of these spots, an age limit of up to 30 has been set, with preference given to students.
Rising Star Academy is thus positioned as a platform that, beyond education, places emphasis on mentorship, networking, and the development of early career steps in the industry.
Applications are open until April 30, and more information is available on the program’s official website.
