Days of Communication is a festival where communication experts from all sectors – from marketing and public relations to digital communications – can come to hear top-notch lectures. This year, Days of Communication programme will include experts in the field of public relations such as Gabriela Lungu, director of consulting agency WINGS from Prague, and Hermes Holm from the PRIME Weber Shandwick agency from Stockholm.
Not many people can boast that they chaired or participated in the juries of international festivals such as Dubai Lynx, Cannes Lions, Effie, D&AD, SABRE and Clio Awards, and Gabriela is one of them. Gabriela Lungu has collected a swathe of awards for her work, with more than 150 awards and nominations at top festivals such as Cannes Lions or Global SABRE, and has more than twenty years of experience in the industry. Gabriela is well versed in the theory of training and coaching, which she developed through strategic management studies, and collected the experience that got her to the very top of PR and creative industry working in leading agencies such as Weber Shandwick, Ogilvy Public Relations, and TBWA London.
Another interesting lecturer is coming to Rovinj from Scandinavia. He is the master of communications, Hermes Holm, whose skills are hidden behind a calm, self-contained exterior. Holm, above all, loves work, opposing the cliché of open, entertaining communication experts who love the attention. Holm is a multi-award-winning PR expert, always at leading positions in the strongest European public relations agencies such as PRIME Weber Shandwick and Edelman Deportivo. PRIME Weber Shandwick is a global creative PR agency of the year according to Holmes Report 2016 and in the period 2010 – 2016 it was the world’s most awarded PR agency in Cannes.
Holm will talk about a sense of higher purpose that has become an integral part of contemporary communication, the goals that the brands set for themselves, and how to go from encouraging discussion to managing it, about how to take a simple campaign and reach solutions to real problems that are relevant to your target audience.
Organizers invite interested communication industry experts to register for the festival and listen to the experience of leading European public relations experts. Early bird registration lasts until February 13th, by when you can book your place saving of up to 1,000 HRK. Members of the Croatian Association of Market Communications Agencies, Croatian Public Relations Association, Croatian Independent Professionals Association, IAB Croatia and clients of HURA agencies are entitled to an additional discount.
