Registrations are now open for the AcademIAA program – an educational project of IAA Serbia that will start on 15 September and will last through 15 December this year. Participants will be able to listen to lectures and participate in workshops in the field of marketing communications. AcademIAA was launched last year and due to its successful realization it has become part of the regular activities of IAA Serbia.
The three-month program includes six modules (business, creative, digital, media, research, and the so-called All Stars). Each module lasts an average of 12 hours. This content aims to provide students with a comprehensive approach to the field of marketing communications (the program is held on Friday afternoon and on Saturdays). Each module has its own coordinator: Research – Goran Tintor, Custom Research Director GfK Belgrade; Media – Marko Šobot, Media Director Publicis One; All Stars – Jana Savić Rastovac, Creative Director McCann Beograd; Business – Smiljka Dokić Jeremić, Marketing Director Erste bank, Vladimir Zarić, Head of Digital Publicis One; Creative – Žarko Veljković, Creative Director. Creative support for the whole project was provided by the agency McCann Beograd.
In order to ensure high quality work with the participants, their total number will not exceed 30. Due to the limited number of participants and the need to reach the most talented candidates, a precise selection process has been put in place, which involves two steps, sending a CV and motivation letter, and then candidate testing. Billboards announcing this year’s AcademIAA are already on the streets of Belgrade, inviting interested parties to apply. All information about the program is available at www.academiaa.rs.
Jelena Ivanović, Executive Director of IAA Serbia, said that the second year of organizing this educational program shows that this is a project that is recognized as worthwhile, one that provides unique content for those who want to gain knowledge in marketing communications. “AcademIAA has already won the status of a ‘training camp for future leaders in the field’ in its first year. It is an intensive program with prominent professionals in the role of lecturers and with the most valuable and most talented participants. In three months, they will be able to see the profession in every sense and thus understand all the processes in it, regardless of what they specifically deal with or are planning to deal with in the future. This is the main advantage of the program – comprehensiveness. Our goal is to reach the best possible students, which is why their number is limited to 30, and there are two stages of selection,” said Jelena Ivanović.
