Studio Sonda, a creative studio from Vižinada, received the Red Dot Award: Brands & Communication Design 2025 for the redesign of Oraketa, the Slovenian multivitamin instant drink owned by Radenska, further enriching its portfolio of renowned international accolades, now counting 21 Red Dot awards. For Oraketa, following significant sales growth and recognition at the regional Balcannes competition, this marks another milestone in extending its success beyond regional borders.
Oraketa has been present on the Slovenian market since 2020, and particularly after the redesign, it quickly became a more recognizable brand in the multivitamin drink category. The new packaging design focuses on preserving the playful identity of the product, ensuring clear visibility on shelves, and communicating the active and fun dimension of the brand. Dynamic graphic lines and striking colors, along with attractive fruit motifs, clearly convey the flavors, while the special 19 g HoReCa packaging, with its shape evoking a rocket, enhances the brand’s identity full of movement and energy.
The award ceremony, the Red Dot Award Awarding Gala, will take place on November 7, 2025, at Konzerthaus Berlin, and Oraketa will be exhibited from November 8, 2025, at the Museum of Communication in Berlin, and from spring 2026 at the Red Dot Design Museum in Essen.
Apart from Oraketa, the jury also recognized Sonda’s Rawino project with a Red Dot award.
The Red Dot Award: Brands & Communication Design is one of the world’s most prestigious awards for communication design and branding, with its jury of international experts evaluating works based on originality, creativity, design quality, and communication impact. It has been awarded since 1955.
