Pablo Walker, president of the McCann Worldgroup for Europe, visited the McCann Zagreb offices. “I only visit offices that do an excellent job,” he joked at his arrival, but the fact is that the visit took place after a very successful period for McCann Zagreb, which was declared Agency of the Year in Croatia.
It is also interesting that Walker is the highest ranking executive of the McCann Worldgroup who has ever visited the office in Zagreb. “Pablo has been in McCann’s operations since his student days and it is a great pleasure to host a person with such an extensive experience. We’ve used the opportunity to inform him more closely about our work, development strategy, and recent events in the regional advertising industry. Pablo’s experience and the global perspective of changing market paradigms, not just in the marketing industry, meant a lot to us because they are also looking for a link between the excellent agency, such as McCann Zagreb, and the new, fundamentally digitized formats that partially compete with existing agencies in addressing the needs of both clients and consumers,” commented Tomislav Presečki, CEO of McCann Zagreb.

“They are achieving great results, the agency is well organized and I’m glad to meet these young and talented people. Today it’s hard to work in marketing. The rules are changing, the number of tools is growing, the competition never sleeps…” said Walker, and added: “I’m proud of the office in Zagreb. After great successes last year, they continue to develop, ready to respond to numerous challenges, and I am glad that they are building strong relationships with local clients, those outside the global agency network. Such clients are much more demanding.”
Prior to assuming the post of President of McCann Worldgroup for Europe in 2014, Walker was President of the McCann Worldgroup for Latin America and the Caribbean. Currently, he oversees McCann operations in 44 European countries, through 38 different languages and numerous multidisciplinary communication areas.
