The pre-selection jury of Effie Slovenia 2016, led by Eva Aljančič, executive director of the company Ventocom Slovenia, chose the 15 finalists for Effie Slovenia 2016. The second instance panel of judges will select the best among the finalists and assign them gold, silver and bronze awards, and perhaps for the first time the platinum award.
Entrants will present their best campaigns at the event List of Finalists, on 21 March 2017, in the hall of Karantanija Hotel Lev in Ljubljana.
Among the finalists of Effie Slovenia 2016 are campaigns of nine different advertisers in nine categories:
Category A – food, Communication of autochthonous semi-hard cheeses Zelene Doline, advertiser Mlekarna Celeia.
Category B – beverages, Laško duel, advertiser Pivovarna Union.
Category C – cars and tech, Z.E. Taxi, advertiser Renault Slovenija.
Category F – services (trade), It’s good to have a piece of nature in your home, advertiser Hofer.
Category F – services (trade), We love local, advertiser Mercator.
Category F – services (trade), The birth of bread, advertiser Hofer.
Category G – services (other), Live life – World through Zlatko’s eyes, advertiser Nova KBM.
Category I – corporate image and sponsorship activation, With Argeta I contribute, and support skiers, advertiser Droga Kolinska/Atlantic grupa.
Category J – social good, Kumstvo, give future back to children, advertiser ZPM Ljubljana, Moste-Polje.
Category M – innovation, tech and media ideas, FerFud – fine bites at fair price, advertiser Hofer.
Category M – innovation, tech and media ideas, Triglav Drive, advertiser Triglav Insurance.
Category M – innovation, tech and media ideas, Live life – World through Zlatko’s eyes, advertiser Nova KBM.
Category N – long-term efficiency, 15 years of the good side of bread, advertiser Droga Kolinska/Atlantic grupa.
Category N – long-term efficiency, Launch and communication of dairy spreads Zelene Doline, advertiser Mlekarna Celeia.
Category N – long-term efficiency, Renewal and rejuvenation of the Donat Mg brand, advertiser Droga Kolinska/Atlantic Grupa.
Most entries that found their way to the shortlist were in the category N) Long-term efficiency, F) Services – trade and M) Innovation, technology and media ideas. Advertisers whose campaigns did best in convincing the jury were Droga Kolinska / Atlantic Grupa, a newcomer among applicants Hofer, Mlekarna Celeia and Nova KBM.
In the second round, the jury will evaluate the campaigns within the categories in which they were registered, whereby the jury has the right to combine or separate categories. The final jury, according to the assigned number of points in each category, will announce the best campaigns and award them with gold, silver, bronze, and perhaps platinum award.
The winners will be officially announced at the Closing ceremony of Effie Slovenia 2016 at the 26. SOF in Portorož, on 6 April 2017.
