Požega presents a new visual identity of the city

The city of Požega, in cooperation with the city tourist board, presented a new visual identity, slogan and a creative platform for the systematic branding of Požega as a tourist destination. This is the first project of such a scope in Slavonia, with regard to strategically focused creative solutions and principles applicable to all future tourist materials of the city, as well as the use of logos and slogans of all city events. The first of these examples could be seen during the recent celebrations of Grgurevo – the Day of the City of Požega, which was attended by Tourism Minister Gari Cappelli.

The branding solution contains the basics of communication strategies and media appearances, as well as designer suggestions of a range of materials, from printed advertisements and billboards to covers for books and brochures, office supplies and numerous promotional items. In order to ensure the universality and applicability of the project, the basic graphic standards for the visual identity of Požega as a tourist destination were created.

For the first time, Požega received a precious resources and rare value in current and future promotion towards domestic and foreign tourists. Authors of these creative solutions come from the Candypepper studio, with many years of experience in advertising.

Požega offers a modern tourist offer with a focus on the main categories of services, an active holiday offer that is unique in the region, a gastronomic offer for the taste of the new generation, a lively and rich contemporary culture, and the idea that connects them all is the new slogan: Brda & Doline (Hills & Valleys).

With the nickname Athens of Slavonia, which Požega was given in the 17th century, it is a city that today hosts the international one-minute film festival, it is the organizer of the Summer School of Science that has hosted several Nobel Prize winners, it is a regional center of education in classical, jazz and contemporary music and the city whose quiz scene is among the strongest in Croatia.
