How to set up a digital department within a company, how to automate marketing or how to build a global company in Croatia are just some of the questions that will be answered by the Digital Shapers Conference, which will be held on 30 November, organized by RTL Croatia, in Zagreb’s Kaptol Boutique Cinema.
On this occasion, numerous experts will arrive in Zagreb to present successful projects in the field of digital transformation through lectures and panels.
Among them will be Alex Katz, one of the two founders of the marketing agency Officer & Gentleman, best known for their longstanding work on promotional campaigns for Pornhub. His workshop titled “Technology: How Pornhub Became Viral” will give participants the opportunity to create the basics of their own viral campaign for the world’s largest adult network. Katz is an award-winning creative who has worked for the world’s best global agencies for decades to create campaigns for global brands like Samsung, Google, or Microsoft. “During the workshop I will talk about the specific constraints we face when creating a campaign, as well as the strategies we use to avoid them,” Katz said.
Evangelos Papathanassiou, a man with twenty years of experience in digital marketing, is also coming to Zagreb. Papathanassiou is a distinguished consultant whose clients include Bertelsmann, RTL, ProSieben, RedBull Media House, Sport1, Bayern Munich, Bundesliga, UEFA and others.
“I have helped companies understand new business mechanisms and adapt to the digital world, and I did all that long before the term digital transformation was coined,” Papathanassiou said.
Digital Shapers Conference will also host Richard Rodgers, head of marketing at Infobip, the largest Croatian software company. In his 20 years long career, he was also an entrepreneur and investor, owner of a digital marketing company, and given that the services of Infobip are used by more than four billion people worldwide, he certainly has plenty to tell. Same as Matija Žulj, founder of Agrivi, one of the eight best agricultural apps in the world that has launched a digital transformation in the agricultural sector. At this time Agrivi is available in 17 languages and is used by more than 40,000 farmers in more than 150 countries worldwide.
RTL will run the Digital Shapers platform throughout the year – tracking progress and stories of digital shapers, promoting their projects, monitoring good practices from other countries, and there are also plans to develop a digital transformation index.
Along with inspirational lectures and panels to be held in two Kaptol Boutique Cinema halls and a number of practical workshops, the first Digital Shaper of Croatia will be selected. Digital Shaper of Croatia is an award that will celebrate individuals who have contributed most to digitalisation and transformation of Croatia through their work.
