For the second year in a row adult website Pornhub has launched its holiday ad, once again did by the Madrid agency Officer&Gentleman. Unlike the usual ads for similar websites, Pornhub’s ad is again completely SFW, and comes with no nudity or cheeky scenes, as that part is left to the imagination of the viewer.
In the spot we follow several lonely hearts for the holidays, who suddenly receive a gift that will brighten up their lonely night. The spot rolls with the ‘appropriate’ music background – Christmas carol Silent Night, which some may view in a completely different light after this ad.
An interesting detail of the video is that it – in a way – pays tribute to some of the most popular holiday ads of the past years. Surely you will all recognize Justino and his mannequins (ad for the Spanish lottery), or the Man on the moon from last year’s video for John Lewis. Anyway, watch the ad and try to identify the other characters on your own.
And don’t worry if your boss walks past your computer. You shouldn’t bear any consequences. As we said, the ad is perfectly safe for work :)
