Zagreb’s Plaza Event Center (ex Hypo Center) from 13 to 15 November this year will host the PMI forum, on topic “Skills from the sleeve of a successful project manager.” It is expected that the 11th Conference of project leaders will bring together about 500 participants from across the region who will, through lectures, workshops and panels, with the participation of local and foreign speakers, have the opportunity to improve their knowledge in the field of project management.
The three-day program includes an all-day workshop led by Antonio Bucero. Bucero is an independent consultant for project management with 22 years of experience managing projects around the world, and is author of nine books on project management. During the workshop, he will share his knowledge on how to develop the skills to influence people and thus have more success in managing project teams and stakeholders. PMI Forum also includes several other full-day workshops, focused on the direct acquisition of practical skills for participants. Conference day brings a series of lectures and examples of successful projects, insights into trends and panel discussions on the topic of project management. The program will be attended by numerous local and foreign speakers who will share their knowledge and experiences. During the panel with participation of project managers from the European Union, participants will be able to compare their experiences with experiences of colleagues from other countries and to find out what are the conditions for career development in the EU markets.
The Project of the Year award is also traditionally awarded at this event, celebrating the best-managed projects and best project results achieved in Croatia. Registration of projects for the award is open, and can be accessed at pmi-croatia.hr/hr/poy
The PMI Forum is organized by the PMI Croatia, which promotes the development and improvement of project management in Croatia.
