Slovenia’s leading brand in growing and care for plants, of the company Unichem from Vrhnika, already exceeds last year’s sales results despite the late spring selling season due to bad weather. The reason is renewed architecture, design and focused strategy of brands aimed at growing and care of plants within the portfolio of the company, as a result of the big autumn pitch in which the company chose Publicis agency and its experienced team for their long-term partner.
“We performed the task more comprehensively and with a longer-term outlook than the customer initially expected. The first step was to determine the strength of the brand Plantella, as a traditional brand in the category, through visibility on the shelves and an impression of new promise. The second step was set up long-term, through the creation of new brand, Urban Jungle, which was launched as a challenger in this category in the domestic market, and in the long term we are focusing it into a niche and global brand,” explained Toni Tomašek, creative director of Publicis Groupe Slovenia.
Unichem takes the lead position with some of its brands in the Slovenian market, while with some, and among them is the Plantella brand, it is present in the entire region of Central Europe.
