Project Planica 2015 Virtual Ski Flying, under which the users are given the unique experience of ski jumping using the 3D VR set Oculus Rift, is one of the most awarded Slovenian communication projects this year. Triglav insurance, Pristop and Art Rebel have already collected a host of awards for this project, including Diggit, Digital Communications Award, SoMo Borac, SPORTO, and other.
At the European Communication Awards, which rewards prominent achievements of communications experts in Europe, the virtual ski jumps on Planica won in the category of projects in the region (Bulgaria, Romania, Croatia, Slovenia, Serbia, Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina).
UK based independent communication consulting agency Lansons was selected as Communication Agency of the Year, while the jury of the European Communication Awards declared the German automaker Opel as the Communications Team of the Year. You can see the list of all winners here.
