To say that passion is what really drives us to move different kinds of boundaries – private, business or simply “life” – is no cliché.
Telling someone they are passionate in what they do every day is one of the most beautiful possible compliments, while “follow your passion” is probably one of the simplest yet the best advice you can give to a person who is looking for some sort of change.
This passion is at the heart of a new campaign that Mastercard has launched in 2019, whose creative concept is signed by McCann Zagreb. Central piece of the campaign are two stories, Nikolina’s and Mirela’s, which prove that “to start something priceless” is not just a phrase or a nice #hashtag.
“The basic idea is that Mastercard enables users to quickly and easily solve all sorts of practical issues, all in order to fully devote themselves to their passions. This passion is what drives them to be the carriers of change in their lives and their immediate surroundings. In this context, Mastercard is a catalyst for real stories based on passion and commitment,” explains Martina Jelić, Account Planning Director at McCann Zagreb.
After spending several years as one of the responsible persons for the finances of one of the most famous Croatian political institutions, Nikolina Antić turned to her love for gastronomy and is now in charge of organizing a gastronomic symphony called RougeMarin.
The second story is of Mirela Kardešević, a former swimmer who replaced her professional career eight years ago with her motherhood, and at the age of thirty decided to take on a hobby that turned into a gold medal in less than a year – in free diving.
